If you're looking for blue light blocking glasses get these!! There is a slight hazel hue through the lends but it is very minimal and if anything just makes the world more soothing to look at. They feel very high quality - my last pair broke after several weeks but I think these will last longer.

I'm new to the "needing glasses" group. I've hit the stage of holding things to read in front of my face and then backing away. I ordered the weakest strength I could and hoped for the best. I had previously tried the cheap readers from the drug store but they were a little too ... narrow in the lenses, like, I could see around them and that made my eyes feel as though they were crossed. When I saw these, I noticed they were slightly larger and rounder in the lenses, and figured that would help. I was right. I can wear these at my desk and not feel like I'm looking through glasses, till I focus farther away from my immediate desk area and then everything is blurry. When I look in the mirror, I think these look a little large for my face, but whatever. They serve their purpose. As for the blue light filtering, I honestly can't tell. I know if I look carefully at the lenses themselves I can see a tint to them, so I figure they are filtering as they say, but I can't tell.I recommend these b/c I they are light on my head and don't give me a contact headache.

OD stands for “oculus dexter,” or right eye.
OS stands for “oculus sinister,” or left eye.
if there is PL or DS in your prescription, it means the value should be 0.
The term PL (Plano) means there is no spherical correction in this eye.
DS stands for “diopter sphere”, which means there is no astigmatism correction for this eye.
