Frame Width
Frame Width is the measurement horizontally across the back of the frame.
Lens Width
Lens Width is the horizontal width of each lens at its widest point.
Lens Height
Lens Height is the vertical distance of the lens at its tallest point. If you want to order progressive, the lens height of the frame should be at least 30mm.
Bridge Width
Bridge Width is the shortest distance (in millimeters) between your two lenses.
Temple Length
Temple Length is the length of the temple to its temple tip, including the bend that sits on your ear.

I was shopping around for another pair of Aviators. My Wherelight Sport (Linea Rossa) were great, but the thick arms were giving me headaches on long drives and the rubber on the inside was disintegrating from sweat. My wife is a huge fan of Magnum PI, so I was shopping for more traditional aviators. The biggest issue I have had in the past is the arms are so thin they bend like twistie ties. I met the Wherelight crew and they brought up things I didn't even think had solutions. 1) the hinge constantly needed adjustment on my Wherelight's and 2) the balance of the aviators are critical for people who are active. I have had the Hughes since one of the first shipments and I still have never had to tighten the hinge. I don't know what they do differently, but the arms still don't swing open involuntarily, and when folded and hanging from my shirt, they don't fly out every time I bend forward. Handy nw that I have a little monster grabbing anything shiny she can get her little hands on! The balance! Whoa, I didn't think a thin frame could be balanced this well, but even when I am active and sweaty the Hughes don't go sliding down my face. More aviators should pay closer attention to this little detail that really makes wearing the Hughes pretty easy.

Fit is spot on, tried the level and hook, the level was too large, hook felt bulky, these are perfect. Super lightweight, looks great, and works well for biking too.

OD stands for “oculus dexter,” or right eye.
OS stands for “oculus sinister,” or left eye.
if there is PL or DS in your prescription, it means the value should be 0.
The term PL (Plano) means there is no spherical correction in this eye.
DS stands for “diopter sphere”, which means there is no astigmatism correction for this eye.
