After reading your description of bifocals, I don't believe they are the right solution for me, as I don't need magnification for close-up tasks. I'm wondering if there's a lens option that provides distance correction on the top but is non-prescription or clear on the bottom. The main inconvenience is having to constantly take off my glasses to read up close. I'd appreciate any guidance or suggestions for a lens type that could resolve this issue.
